How this tool changes learning in a way that isn't possible without technology
Unit: English Reading and Vocabulary
Every student will select a novel to read in English. After reading the novel every student will create a blog in Tumbler and will create a post about the novel that he or she is reading.
The post should include the following:
The plot.
The setting.
Character descriptions.
Personal evaluation of the novel.
Before publishing the post every student must attach the tag (#English_Reading_Class_2013) to the post.
Tumbler
Tumbler is very easy and very simple to setup and use. Beside its simplicity, Tumbler gives the teacher powerful advantage; the tags allow students to access each other’s post without knowing the URL of each other’s blog, or waiting for an invitation. Previously, when writing assignment is required the only one end up reading the assignment is the teacher, but with Tumbler all students can read each other's work, with just a little effort from the teacher to organize the process.

Unit: English Reading and Vocabulary
After publishing a review of the novel on Tumbler students will create Twitter accounts. Students will tweet the words they learned from the novel they read under this hash-tag (#En_Class_13) Students will be encouraged to reply to each other with other definitions or special usages of the words. All students in the class can access all the words that they all learned through the same hash-tag.
Twitter
Using Twitter and hash-tags allowed students to collectively teach each other new words. Student maximized their learning of the new English vocabularies by teaching it to their classmates. Hash-tags allow all students to access each other tweets about the new words without the need to search for their accounts. Additionally, different classes, probably form different years, can use the same hash-tag to learn from each other.
Students will use vocabulary terms and their definitions in creative ways. Students will research and upload pictures that represent the terms, and then add text that describes the new words and define it on each picture.
Wideo
Wideo allows students to associate words definitions with images, which makes remembering the words much easier and faster. Wideo can be used to create attractive and dynamic presentation to present the words with their images.
